17 year-old climate activist and inspirational young person Greta Thunberg is gaining more recognition for promoting the worlds ongoing climate crisis, but how does she keep protesting when in lockdown? At just 15 years old Thunberg dedicated her life to sitting in the street in her Swedish home town during a school strike. How did she make such a big difference at such a young age?

"People tell me I should study to become a climate scientist so I can solve the climate crisis, but the climate crisis has already been solved. We already have the facts and solutions, all we have to do is wake up and change"

In the space of 2 years, Greta Thunberg has gone from being a 15 year old school girl striking in the streets of Sweden, to travelling the world to give speeches and promote her fight for climate change in front of the United Nations. Along with her passion for the environment, she strives to show young people that they can use their voice to make change.

"We showed that we are united and that we young people are unstoppable"

So how does an activist stay active?

"Times like these make it difficult to keep my voice heard, but there are so many ways to keep protesting, and so many causes to protest for"

After stepping back from the public speeches, Thunberg has started focusing on her education and going back to online school, but she still finds the time to protest.
